Pawleys Island man arrested in connection with string of recent burglaries
A 27-year-old Pawleys Island man was arrested in connection with a recent string of burglaries that happened in the Murrells Inlet area, Lt. Raul Denis, spokesman with Horry County police, said.
Michael Christian Lee is charged with multiple counts of first-degree burglary, and more charges are expected to follow, Denis said.
Authorities said the series of burglaries was committed recently in the Mount Gilead community in Murrells Inlet.
Lee is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center where he is awaiting a bond hearing, police said.
More information will be released once additional charges are filed, Denis said.
