Police: Woman vandalizes a home and car in search of her kids
Myrtle Beach police are investigating vandalism to a woman’s car and home in the 2200 block of Highway 15.
About 10:30 Saturday night, police were called to the residence.
According to the police report, the victim said she was watching television when she heard a loud noise that sounded like something hitting her car. When she went to check it out, someone started banging on her back door.
The victim says the suspect, Kim Khanh, allegedly began yelling for her to come outside, when she refused, Khanh allegedly started breaking windows in the home, according to the report.
When police arrived, Khanh said that the victim had her kids. However, the victim claims the children no longer live there and are in Chicago with their father.
Five windows were damaged in the home, along with damage to the victim’s car.
Khanh was placed under arrest and transported to the Myrtle Beach Jail.
