Police called after electronics taken during home break-in
A 34-year-old man told Myrtle Beach police his Xbox-brand gaming console, two televisions, and his laptop computer were taken after someone allegedly broke in to his apartment, police said.
Officers were called about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to an apartment on the 100th block of Cedar Street where the victim reported that the break-in had happened some time over the weekend, authorities said.
The victim said he waited to report the incident because he was tired from traveling when he came home about 2 a.m. Monday.
The victim told police someone broke a backdoor window, allowing them access to his home.
The victim said he noticed several electronic items missing, but nothing else.
Police continue to investigate the incident, according to the report.
