Sidney Moorer could be in court again after a second bond modification motion was filed Aug. 18.

The motion was filed by the Horry County Clerk of Court on Aug. 24.

Moorer's attorney Kirk Truslow filed the motion stating they have attempted to resolve the issue with the State prior to filing the motion.

Horry County Solicitor Jimmy Richardson said that he received the motion and that they are considering an agreement.

A hearing date has not been set.

Truslow was unavailable for comment.

The couple is out on bond on charges of murder and kidnapping in connection with the disappearance of Heather Elvis.

On Aug. 6, Judge Markley Dennis granted Tammy and Sidney Moorer a bond modification to travel to Florida for a job interview.

Truslow asked during the hearing that the Moorers be allowed to travel out of state to seek employment. He said it is hard for the Moorers to find work in the Myrtle Beach area because of the pretrial publicity.

Truslow said during the hearing that Moorer is self-employed, doing maintenance work for franchise restaurants.

The couple was granted bond Jan. 30 by Dennis and was set at $100,000 each.

The restrictions on their bond as it was originally set included GPS monitoring, the couple not being allowed within a 5-mile radius of the Elvis home, and not being allowed to go outside of the state without permission.

He also told them to have no contact, direct or indirect, with the Elvis family. He specified that this includes contact from other family members.

Those conditions remain in effect following Thursday's hearing.

Tammy Moorer was released from jail Jan. 30. Sidney Moorer was released from jail on Feb. 2.
