A Conway woman has been identified as the person killed in a downtown home over the weekend.

Shantavious Manner, 44, was found dead in her home Sunday in the 1400 block of 6th Avenue, according to an email from Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.

Manner died from traumatic injuries, Willard said. It has not been released how Manner died.

Conway Police are investigating Manner’s death as a homicide.

Manner’s mother posted on social media that her daughter died at the hands of her boyfriend in a domestic violence situation.

One person has been detained and arrested in the death. The name of the person was not released, nor the charges.

Conway Fire Department responded to the home at 7:40 a.m. for a medical call, according to a Conway Police Department Facebook post. When crews arrived, they determined the woman was deceased and requested assistance from the police department.
