Man attacked at Coastal Grand Mall. Myrtle Beach Police looking for suspects
Myrtle Beach Police is investigating an attack that took place at the Coastal Grand Mall on Saturday.
A video was posted on Facebook showing a man being beaten by at least three teenagers at the mall. The man curls into a ball on the floor as he is punched and kicked before the teenagers eventually run away.
According to the post, the man had asked the teens to move away from the urinal in the bathroom.
Myrtle Beach Police posted on Sunday that they are aware of the video and related social media posts involving juveniles at the mall. Based on preliminary information, the incident began as a verbal interaction and escalated into a physical altercation, the police Facebook post said. Police are working to identify the persons involved.
