Gun fired near Myrtle Beach LGBTQ nightclub. Here’s what we know
Myrtle Beach police are investigating after a gun was fired in the south end of the city Wednesday.
Shortly before 11 a.m., officers responded to a weapon discharge at the 2700 block of South Kings Highway. Myrtle Beach Police Department spokesperson Randolph Angotti said he was unaware of anyone injured or detained in connection with the incident.
A police scanner report cited an incident involving gunfire at vehicles at 2701 S. Kings Highway, the site of Pulse Ultra Club, a nightclub welcoming the LGBTQ community in Myrtle Beach for nearly 15 years. However, police wouldn’t confirm the incident location Wednesday afternoon.
“The location of where the incident itself has not been established,” Angotti said.
