North Myrtle Beach man shot and killed while sitting in vehicle at car event
A North Myrtle Beach man was shot and killed while sitting in his vehicle at a drag strip event this weekend.
Anadai Keel, 29, was attending an event at the North Myrtle Beach Drag Strip on Star Bluff Road in Longs when he was shot. He died just after midnight Sept. 27, 2025, according to an email from Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
Horry County Police is investigating the shooting.
The Sun News has requested the incident report in the shooting. It is unclear if anyone has been arrested in the shooting.
