“Take me to jail. I beat her…” Leron Monke Mccleod told Myrtle Beach authorities about a reportedly pregnant woman, according to a police report.

Officers met with Mccleod, 38, and a 31-year-old victim about 6:15 a.m. Thursday after getting calls about a disturbance at a home on the 300 block of Seventh Avenue North, police said.

Authorities said when they arrived Mccleod told them to take him to jail, and then would not say anything more to them.

Police met with the victim who told them nothing happened, but authorities said she had a lump on her forehead, dirt on her back and a cut on her arm, according to the report.

The victim also told police she was three-and-a-half months pregnant and did not want Mccleod to go to jail, officers said.

The victim said she suffered injuries after falling down; however, a witness on the scene told police they heard the victim screaming and saw Mccleod hitting and kicking her while she was balled up in the street, authorities said.

Mccleod was arrested and charged with domestic violence, first-degree great bodily harm and was taken to the Myrtle Beach Jail.

Police said they learned Mccleod had three previous convictions in connection with criminal domestic violence charges.
