SC man dies after being shot in vehicle. Homicide investigation underway
The victim of a shooting in Horry County has died after being taken to the hospital last week
Emmanuel Brown, 28, of Florence, died at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center on June 20, 2025, after being shot in a car on Livingston Lane in Longs the day prior, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard by email. The shooting took place around 1:30 a.m. on June 19, 2025.
The shooting is now being investigated as a homicide by the Horry County Police Department.
The Sun News has requested the incident report and arrest warrant.
