6 charged in string of armed robberies, home invasions. Most SC victims only spoke Spanish
Horry County Police have arrested six people involved in several home invasions and armed robberies.
Three adults and three juveniles are charged with 23 different crimes connected to 13 separate incidents between February and June 2025 in the Conway area and unincorporated Horry County, according to an email from Horry County Police spokesperson Mikayla Moskov.
Suspects allegedly broke into victims’ homes to steal cell phones, guns, cash and more, Moskov added.
The juveniles, whose names have not been released, were charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. One of the juveniles has also been charged with first-degree burglary and kidnapping.
Other arrests include Eric Henriquez and Sarah Richardson, who were both charged with possession of a stolen pistol and unlawful conduct toward a child, and Carmeshia Livington, who was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and accessory after the fact to armed robbery.
Almost all the robberies occurred after midnight where the suspects wore black masks and gloves before breaking into residents’ homes, armed with handguns, according to police reports.
Many of the robberies involved the suspects stealing about $2,000 in cash and $1,000 in cell phones, often from people who only speak Spanish.
One exception is an incident on May 24 where suspects allegedly robbed $15,000 worth of clothes, perfume and jewelry, according to a police report.
Another incident involved the suspects robbing a woman’s groceries outside her house, and in at least four incidents suspects stole victims’ passports or ID’s.
Further arrests are to be expected as the investigation into this incident remains active and ongoing, Moskov said in the email.
