Update: Police release more details on early-morning shooting at bar, one man injured
Myrtle Beach police are pursuing a person of interest after one man was injured in an overnight shooting at a bar, Lt. Joey Crosby, spokesman with Myrtle Beach police, said.
Officers were called about 3:06 a.m. Wednesday to Jimmagan’s sports bar at 6003 N. Kings Hwy where police said they were told by several patrons that a fight occurred inside the bar involving two men shooting at each other.
The man who was shot was found a short time later and taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center for treatment.
His condition is unknown at this time, Crosby said.
Authorities said this investigation is ongoing and further release of information at this time could hinder the case.
