Ohio man dies after shooting at Myrtle Beach resort building. Coroner names victim
An Ohio man has died after a shooting at a Myrtle Beach resort.
Aaron Holston, 23, of Pickerington, died on Feb. 4 from injuries he received during a shooting at the Driftwood Tower by Sea Mist Resort at 1207 S. Ocean Blvd., according to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard in an email.
Holston was one of two people transported to the hospital after the shooting.
Myrtle Beach Police responded to the building at 10:27 p.m., according to a police Facebook post. Two people received injuries, the post said.
It is unclear what led to the shooting. The Sun News has requested a police report for additional details.
No arrests have been made.
