A man is allegedly robbed after meeting people in a nightclub

Myrtle Beach police are investigating an alleged robbery.

About 2:30 Monday morning, an officer spotted two men talking at the corner of 7th Avenue and Ocean Boulevard.

One of the men had blood on his face, arms and shirt.

When the officer spoke with the men, he was told that one had been robbed.

The 34-year-old victim told police that he met a group of people at a nightclub at Broadway at the Beach.

After buying the group drinks, they all left the bar together and went to the 7th Avenue beach access, according to the police report.

At the access, the victim alleges two men, one of which he met at the club, pushed him the car and began to beat him, while a female took his money from his pocket.

The victim told police that everyone he was with fled the scene leaving him behind.
