Home Improvement star Zachery Ty Bryan arrested on domestic violence charge in SC

Zachery Ty Bryan, known for roles on “Home Improvement” and “The Fast and the Furious Franchise” was arrested by Myrtle Beach Police on a second-degree domestic violence charge, according to records from the Horry County Sheriff’s Office.

The 43-year-old actor and producer was booked on Jan. 2 and remains incarcerated Friday afternoon with a bond set at $10,000.

Bryan has previously faced assault and driving under the influence charges, according to reporting by US Weekly. In 2020 he pleaded guilty to menacing and fourth-degree assault in a plea deal and in 2023 he pleaded guilty to felony assault in the fourth degree constituting domestic violence.

In 2020, Bryan pleaded guilty after being booked for a DUI and last February, Bryan was arrested in California for a suspected DUI with three or more priors. In October the same year he was booked for a second-felony DUI offense and driving without a valid license in Oklahoma.
