Two Loris area parents were arrested months after their four children tested positive for illicit drugs, according to Horry County Police reports.

Patrick Hemingway, 38, and Monica Goris-Pizarro, 32, were each arrested on Dec. 6 for four counts of unlawful conduct toward a child. The pair have four children together — a 9-year-old, a 4-year-old and two 2-year-olds, arrest warrants show.

Both parents and the four children all tested positive for marijuana and cocaine earlier this year. The arrest warrants were issued in October, and Hemingway and Goris-Pizarro were arrested in December.

It is unclear why the parents and children were tested for drugs.

Hemingway and Goris-Pizarro were released Dec. 6 from the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on a $10,000 bond.
