A 22-year-old has been arrested after he allegedly shot and killed a 52-year-old man near Conway, according to an Horry County police report

Tyler Denno has been accused of shooting Joe Stacy in the head and neck on Monday, the police report stated. Stacy was found dead in the kitchen of his Restful Lane home.

When police found Stacy’s body, Denno was the only person in the home, according to the police report. The relationship between Denno and Stacy was not stated but they lived in the same home.

After obtaining a search warrant, the gun used to shoot Stacy was found in a safe in Denno’s room.

The 22-year-old was arrested and charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession with intent to distribute drugs. He is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bail.
