SC man arrested in deadly shooting in Myrtle Beach area. One person died, another injured
Police arrested a South Carolina man for allegedly shooting two people in a car, which killed one and injured another, in late May, according to Horry County Police reports.
Rashaud Faulkner, 34, was arrested on June 8 and charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. He is currently being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bail.
A witness told police that the Eastover man was the last person to be seen with the two victims, the police report said. The injured shooting victim said Faulkner shot him on May 28 around 2:35 a.m.
Brandi Lilly, 34, was found dead in the passenger seat of a vehicle on Gurley Road, according to the Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard. The driver had three gunshot wounds and was sent to the hospital.
It is unclear what led to the shooting.
