Man held at gunpoint and robbed near a Myrtle Beach, SC strip mall. Three arrested

Three people allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint near a strip mall along Pipers Pointe Lane in Myrtle Beach, according to police documents.

Dacoda Cook, 18; Brent Calvin, 38; and Bo Taylor, 41, were arrested by Myrtle Beach Police and charged with armed robbery on April 26. All three are being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center with a $200,000 bail for the robbery charge.

Taylor was also charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime, along with several other charges. His total bail is over $229,000.

The victim was near Pipers Pointe Lane near U.S. 501 on April 25 when Taylor approached him and became hostile, according to a police report. Taylor than pulled out his gun and pointed it at the victim while Cook and Calvin “took control of the victim’s property,” according to the police report.

The group then left, walking along the train tracks towards Canal Street. The arrest warrants did not say what was stolen from the victim.
