Update: Atlantic Beach, SC police chief one of 10 arrested in a prostitution operation

The police chief in Atlantic Beach is one of 10 men who were arrested and charged with prostitution.
The 10 men, including Police Chief Quentin Robinson, spoke with an undercover officer who pretended to be a prostitute online, according to a police incident report. They agreed to meet the officer at a hotel room located on 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach and exchange $80 to $120 for sexual favors.
The men showed up, gave the undercover officer the money and were then arrested.
Robinson has been put on administrative leave with pay pending an investigation, according to a press release from the town. The Atlantic Beach senior officer will take over the police department.
They were brought to J. Reuben Long Detention Center on April 23, according to bookings. Majority of the men live in the Myrtle Beach area.
Robinson has been with the Atlantic Beach Police Department since 2015, according to the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy.
Horry County Police Department, Myrtle Beach Police Department, South Carolina State Law Enforcement Division, and Horry County Sheriff’s Office worked together on the prostitution operation, said Horry County Spokesperson Mikayla Moscov in an email press release.
Here is the full list of men arrested and charged. They all received a prostitution charge with the exception of Jaime Cordero-Carrillo who was also charged with narcotic possession.
