Georgetown authorities looking for help identifying burglary suspect
Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office deputies are asking for the community’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred earlier this month.
After getting a call about a business alarm, sheriff’s office deputies arrived about midnight July 1 to find a crack in the glass on a main door and discovered the front right window shattered at the 51 Express at 7359 Browns Ferry Road in the Browns Ferry community of Georgetown County, according to a press release from Carrie Cuthbertson, sheriff’s office spokesperson.
Authorities said multiple display items from within the store were scattered in a trail that led to the rear of the store toward Ed Miller Way and Johnson Road.
Anyone who can identify the individuals in the surveillance photograph or has any information on this incident is urged to contact the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office at 546-5101.
