Update: Coroner identifies man found shot and killed in Horry County home
An Horry County man was shot and killed Dec. 15 in the Loris area, according to an Horry County Police report.
The incident happened at 11:12 p.m. on Kingcrest Drive, according to the report.
Ron Riggins, 34, was shot and died at his home, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
When the officer arrived, a female outside the residence told the officer, “he is inside.” When the officer went inside, the victim could be seen lying on his back, the police report said.
The officer checked the man and discovered he had no pulse.
