Man arrested for entering Surfside Beach home and attacking someone with a screwdriver

Horry County Police arrested a man after he attacked a man with a screwdriver in a Surfside Beach home, WPDE first reported.

Horry County charged Joseph Bradley Moxey, 39, with burglary and assault, both in the first degree.

WPDE stated that Moxey entered the home and tried to stab the victim with a screwdriver. The victim attacked back and Moxey fled the scene. Police found and arrested him early Monday morning.

Moxey is currently incareated at the J Rueben Long Detention with no set bail.
