79-year-old Conway man arrested on 10 charges for sexual exploitation of minors

A 79-year-old Conway man faces 10 charges of sexual exploitation of minors, according to the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office.

Albert Walter Koepcke was arrested by the Horry County Sheriff’s Office and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force July 12, according to a press release. The arrest came after investigators received a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators said Koepcke possessed files of child sexual abuse material. The felony charges are punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count, the release said.

This case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
