A Georgetown goat named Donkey, who was stolen from his Front Street home over the weekend, was recently found and reunited with his owner, authorities said.

Georgetown Police Department officials said in a Facebook posting on Wednesday that Meagan Ward, of the Hilliard Law firm, found the goat in her backyard and called police.

Georgetown authorities said Donkey the goat “was so excited to see his master, all he could say was I’m baaaaaaaack,” according to the posting.

Police did not mention if there were any suspects in the case, or if any arrests had been made in connection to the theft of Donkey.
