Conway police arrested three people in connection with multiple drug charges, along with stolen property and trespassing offenses, after responding to an unrelated call about shots fired, according to Lt. Selena Small with the Conway Police Department.

Charles Hakeem Johnson, 24, of Conway, was charged with possession of schedule two narcotics, possession of heroin, possession of stolen property, simple possession marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.

Bryant Anile Cole Jr., 24, of Conway, was charged with possession of schedule two narcotics, possession of heroin, possession of stolen property, simple possession marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and trespassing.

Pagrein Dwayne Harrell, 20, of Myrtle Beach, was charged with possession of schedule two narcotics, possession of heroin, possession of stolen property, simple possession marijuana and trespassing.

Officers were called about 5:30 p.m. Thursday to the area of Sixth Avenue and Pittman Street in Conway after getting reports of shots fired. An investigation revealed a suspect in a vehicle and another suspect in the area were shooting at each other, but no one was injured, Small said.

Police interviewed several people in the area during the investigation that led to the arrest of Johnson, Cole and Harrell, which was unrelated to the shots fired call, authorities said.

The investigation into the suspects shooting at each other is on-going, and anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Conway Police Department at 248-1790.
