Police investigate after early-morning shooting occurs

Myrtle Beach police are investigating for a reported early-morning shooting incident happened on Saturday.

Officers were on the scene of the incident about 3 a.m. on the 400 block of 15th Avenue South, according to Myrtle Beach Police Department records.

Further details as to what led to the shooting, exactly where it occurred, and the victim’s condition were not available by 7:30 a.m. on Saturday.

A report of the incident is expected to be released later. More information will be provided as it is released.
