Myrtle Beach on scene of 27th Avenue North, roads closed due to a “disturbance”

Myrtle Beach authorities are at the scene of a “disturbance” on 27th Avenue North. Officers were called in to check on someone this morning at one of the properties and are now speaking to the person inside.

The roads surrounding the property are closed off and the area is secured with additional units. Myrtle Beach Police Capt. Bertang said the area was “safe and contained,” but wants residents and passerby to stay away from the area for safety.
