Men tried to rob teen who went to Myrtle Beach store for milk

An 18-year-old man, who went to a convenience store for a gallon of milk, told Myrtle Beach police he was robbed at gunpoint by four men who chased him and pushed him off his bicycle, according to a police report.

The victim called police at 4:15 a.m. Thursday to 2000 Greens Blvd., where he told police about the robbery.

The victim said he was in the area of Greens Boulevard and Monticello Drive riding his bicycle home after going to a nearby convenience store for a gallon of milk, police said.

The victim said the four men approached him and he tried to ride away on his bicycle, but they chased him, according to the report. The victim said the men pushed him off the bicycle into a drainage ditch.

One robber had a gun and demanded the victim’s money, according to the report. The victim said he told the robbers he didn’t have any money and they followed him home and yelled at him that they would kill him if he didn’t give them cash.

The victim said the men did not take anything from him, according to the report.
