Police: Conway pharmacy tech accused of stealing opioids from patient’s bottle
A Conway woman was arrested Friday after state law enforcement officials say she swiped pills from a patient.
Pamela Chassen, 68, of 148 Pumpkin Ash Loop, was charged with a single count of theft of a controlled substance.
Chassen is accused to stealing hydocodone tablets from a prescription sometime last week while working as a pharmacy tech at Conway’s Church Street Walmart, according to WMBF television.
Chassen was booked at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center and later released Friday after posting a $5,000 bond, according to Horry County intake records.
