Warrants: 20-year-old woman stabbed another woman during hotel fight in Myrtle Beach
A 20-year-old woman has been charged in connection to a stabbing in a Myrtle Beach hotel room in January, police said.
Celine Rodriguez faces an attempted murder charge and a weapons charge after she stabbed another woman during a fight, according to arrest warrants.
Rodriguez was arrested and booked in the Myrtle Beach jail on Feb. 11, online arrest records show.
An investigation started after officers found a woman who had stab wounds on her face from an incident that happened the morning of Jan. 31. The unnamed woman said Rodriguez, who she has known for two years, stabbed her, causing permanent damage to her face, according to warrants. It states the injury required medical attention.
The woman told police Rodriguez said she was “going to kill her,” warrants state.
Police did not include the name of the hotel mentioned.
In July 2021, the Horry County Police Department charged Rodriguez with first-degree assault and battery. That charge is pending, according to online records.
