Conway police have made an arrest in connection with the reported rape and carjacking that happened during Halloween at an apartment complex near Coastal Carolina University.
Ja’Real Tavon Warren, 17, of Green Sea, was arrested Tuesday and charged with various counts including attempted murder, armed robbery, first-degree criminal sexual conduct and kidnapping, according to a news release from Conway. The police report states that a weapon was involved in the rape and carjacking, but did not specify what type of weapon.
