Myrtle Beach police investigating aggravated assault at Coastal Grand Mall

One person was injured at Coastal Grand Mall after an aggravated assault Friday morning, police said.

Myrtle Beach police responded to the mall’s parking lot and found one person injured. The extent of the person’s injuries was not clear according to the social media post from the department.

Officers will remain at the scene until they are done investigating, the post stated. Details of the assault were not clear but police said a preliminary investigation found the subject and victim were involved in a “domestic incident.”
