One person was killed in a shooting at a restaurant in Socastee Plaza, according to the Horry County coroner.

Horry County police announced around 8:30 p.m. Sunday night that they are investigating the shooting. Socastee Plaza is located on Socastee Boulevard and Manor Circle.

Around 9 p.m. the plaza parking lot and Manor Circle were blocked off with police tape.

At 10:20 p.m. police announced a suspect. They are searching for 19-year-old Josue Rivera in connection with this shooting.

He was last seen in a white two-door 2002 BMW 330ci with South Carolina license plate SPT-485.

Police ask that anyone with information about Rivera’s whereabouts call 843-248-1520.
