Police say the same three people committed armed robberies in Myrtle Beach, less than a mile apart.

Myrtle Beach Police arrested Stanley Sampson, 22, Ayeola Murray, 17, and Chimenuma Ajoku, 17, after they robbed two separate drivers at gunpoint, according to police warrants.

On Saturday, police went to the 3400 block of North Oak Street for a reported armed robbery. The victim told police he was in his parked car outside his apartment when the men approached his car with guns drawn, according to arrest warrants.

The suspects ordered him out and searched the car. They also demanded his wallet, which had $40 and some credit cards, according to warrants.

A short time later, a robbery was reported near 38th avenue and N. Kings Hwy. Two victims told police they were driving when a Jeep blocked them in, according to the arrest warrants.

Two men got out of the SUV and pointed guns at the victims, the warrants state. The driver put the car in reverse and the men got back in their Jeep. The suspects were then quickly pulled over by police.

When police stopped the suspects they found the guns matching the description given by victims, according to the arrest warrant.

The suspects are being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center for attempted armed robbery, Ajoku faces an additional charge of possessing a weapon during a violent crime.
