Horry County police released photos of persons of interest in connection to Saturday’s fatal hit-and-run.
The vehicle-vs.-pedestrian incident left one person dead and police believe it was intentional. The incident happened at 1:51 p.m. on Blackberry Lane in the Carolina Forest area of Horry County.
The photos show individuals believed to be involved in the incident. They were taken at the Speedway gas station near Longs. The vehicle of interest - a gray Dodge 1500 extended cab with a trailer that was loaded with pine straw - was also captured on video from around the county, police say.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Alexander Baum, 30. He died of traumatic injuries.
Police asked for the public’s help finding a vehicle of interest. Authorities continue to investigate and anyone with information is asked to call 843-248-1520.
