One injured, one in custody in connection to shooting in Myrtle Beach, records show

One person was injured in a shooting in Myrtle Beach early Saturday morning and police have a suspect in custody, according to online records.

Police responded to 601 Mitchell Drive, where condo and rental property Holiday Towers is located, for the report of a shooting in room 203, and emergency personnel arrived to treat the victim, the report states. The victim was then taken to the hospital, though their condition is unknown.

Police arrested Jordan Christian Langford, 22, in connection to the incident. According to online records, he has been charged with attempted murder. He was booked into J. Reuben Long on Saturday afternoon and remained incarcerated as of Sunday afternoon with his bond set at $10,000.

The police report offered few details of the incident, but a large number of police officers responded and detectives were investigating.
