Why more than 50 pounds of marijuana won’t make its way to Myrtle Beach from Las Vegas
Thanks to the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, more than 50 pounds of marijuana won’t be making its way to Myrtle Beach.
The GCSO announced via Facebook on Tuesday morning that its deputies made a traffic stop on Interstate 85 that led to the discovery of 51 pounds of pot.
The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office stated that the vehicle stopped was a rental that was traveling from Las Vegas to Myrtle Beach. The post did not include a name of the suspect.
Marijuana is completely legal — for medicinal and recreational purposes — in Nevada but is completely illegal in South Carolina.
