Victim suffers ‘life-threatening’ injuries in Myrtle Beach stabbing, one in custody

A victim suffered “life-threatening injuries” in a stabbing that ended near a popular Myrtle Beach area shopping stretch.

The stabbing was reported around 1 p.m. Sunday.

Myrtle Beach Cpl. Thomas Vest said the incident started as a domestic situation on Pine Island Road and ended in a parking lot on Oak Forest Lane.

The victim suffered life-threatening injuries and is recovering at the hospital, Vest said.

Police have one person in custody in connection to the incident. Vest said the suspect’s name will be released once they are formally charged.
