One person ‘seriously injured’ in downtown Myrtle Beach stabbing, police say

One person was “seriously injured’ in a stabbing near downtown Myrtle Beach on Thursday afternoon.

Police responded to the 300 block of 7th Avenue North around 2:45 p.m. for the stabbing. One person went to the hospital after the stabbing, Cpl. Thomas Vest said.

Officers are in the area an investigating the incident.

Authorities have not said whether anyone is being detained in connection to the attack.
