Horry County police investigating a shooting in the Galivants Ferry area
Horry County police are investigating a shooting incident in the Galivants Ferry area.
Police went to the 700 block of Mill Pond Road around 3:30 p.m. for a reported shooting. One victim was being taken to the hospital, according to police radio traffic.
Horry County police say the scene is active and asked people to avoid the area.
Officers have not said if they have a suspect or if anyone is being detained.
