Police arrest one in connection to a shooting in Myrtle Beach Waffle House parking lot
Myrtle Beach police announced Saturday that they’ve made an arrest in connection to a shooting at a Waffle House in the city in the early morning.
Draquan Amond Gore, 21, of Kingstree, has been charged with discharging a weapon within city limits and unlawful carrying of a pistol, according to online police records.
Officers were called to the Waffle House at 100 North Kings Highway around 4:30 a.m. after someone fired a handgun in the parking lot. Gore left in a silver Dodge Charger before police arrived, according to a news release. No injuries or damages were reported.
Approximately an hour later officers found the vehicle at another Waffle House, at 711 Frontage Road. Several people were detained as investigators responded, the release states. Police then took Gore into custody.
