Early morning fire damages barbecue restaurant in Aynor

Horry County firefighters fought an early morning fire at a restaurant in Aynor.

The fire at Gore’s BBQ & Country Kitchen on North Main Street was called in by a passerby about 6 a.m. Monday.

Horry County firefighters were able to get the fire under control by 6:20 a.m.

Fire officials said the fire was contained to the building, and the extent of damage is unknown at this time.

No one was hurt in the fire.

The cause is under investigation.
