Dozens of pot-laced cookies, marijuana found in Conway drug bust, police say

Police found marijuana and pot-laced cookies during a drug bust near a Conway school, officials announced Monday.

Officers went to a Provincial Apartments, 660 S.C. Hwy 544, residence for a drug complaint, according to Conway police. After a search warrant was executed, officers say they found 424 grams of marijuana, 7,856 grams of synthetic marijuana-infused into cookies and 1.5 Adderall pills.

Conway police charged Bailey Andrew Fought, 23, of Myrtle Beach, with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana within close proximity of a school, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana, possession with intent to distribute synthetic marijuana within close proximity to a school, and possession of schedule II narcotics.

Fought was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Wednesday and released after posting $17,000 bond.
