Search ongoing for missing car with flashing blue light, says ‘Georgetown police’ on side
Editor’s note: At 5 p.m. the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office reported that the police car had been recovered.
Police are asking for the public’s help finding a stolen police car.
The car has flashing blue lights and says “Georgetown police” on the side.
The vehicle was reported stolen from a Pawleys Island dealership where it was being serviced, according to the Georgetown Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle is a 2013 Ford Taurus with a license plate of MG54194 and is marked unit 620. The cruiser also has decals that say it belongs to the Georgetown City police.
