Myrtle Beach police ask for public’s help to identify suspect in string of break-ins

Myrtle Beach police are investigating a string of break-ins at businesses and now ask for the public’s help to identify a suspect.

The burglaries happened at five businesses - mostly restaurants- throughout town, according to Cpl. Thomas Vest. The break-ins happened between May 20 and June 3.

The suspect, or suspects, broke in overnight and in the early morning hours, police say. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the cash registers.

Police released a video of one of the break-ins and for the public’s help identifying the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 843-918-1382 or email pdinfo@cityofmyrtlebeach.com
