A Myrtle Beach woman is accused of pouring pepper on a child and ripping out her earring as punishment.

Myrtle Beach police arrested and charged Josefina Cotom-Marin, 45, with unlawful neglect of a child. She was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Wednesday and is being held $10,000 bail.

The incident happened in early March at a 62nd Avenue North residence.
