Myrtle Beach police arrest wanted person at Sam’s Club store

Myrtle Beach police took a wanted man into custody on Saturday at Sam’s Club on Saturday afternoon.

Around 4:30 p.m., Myrtle Beach police responded to the Sam’s Club near Mr. Joe White Avenue and Seaboard Street. Myrtle Police Cpl. Thomas Vest said the man was wanted for a violent crime in another area.

The person was not wanted out of Horry County. Police have not released the suspects name or the exact nature of his charges.

Police officers cleared the Sam’s Club as they searched for the suspect. They also checked other stores in the Seaboard Commons area.
