One person shot in Murrells Inlet, Georgetown County Sheriff investigating
One person was shot in Murrells Inlet, and the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office is investigating.
The shooting was reported around 3:30 p.m. on Lomax Court, according to the office. One person was shot, though there is no word on the extent of the injury.
Police say the suspect fled the area. The victim went to the hospital for treatment.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact (843) 546-5102. Lomax Court is off Wachesaw Road and U.S. 17.
