One person shot along Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, no arrests made
One person was shot off Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach and police continue to investigate.
Myrtle Beach police officers went to 3401 N. Kings Hwy. shortly before midnight Thursday for a reported shooting. The shooting happened in a lot behind a nearby business, according to a police report.
The victim was shot in the leg, and several officers gave the victim first aid, according to the report. The victim later went to the hospital.
A witness told police he heard an argument in the lot between two men, according to the report. The argument went on for about two minutes until the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
Another witness said as she called the police the suspect fled towards 34th Avenue North, according to the police.
The witness said the shooter was a black man wearing long black pants and black sneakers.
Myrtle Beach police have not made an arrest in the case.
